Fair Usage Policy
Some of our plans include things we call unlimited. This policy explains what that means, the limits that sit behind it, and what happens if you ever reach one. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. What unlimited means
Unlimited means we don't count it and we don't charge for it. It's there for one business running its own work in one workspace, and the limits below are set well above what almost any workspace uses.
2. The limits
On any plan where one of these is unlimited, or has no set number, each workspace holds to:
| What | Fair usage limit, per workspace |
|---|---|
| Contributors | 300 |
| Invited clients | 1,000 |
| Shared inboxes | 100 |
| Dictation | 60 hours a month |
Only people with access to your workspace count: contributors and the clients you invite, including invitations not accepted yet. Client and contact profiles you haven't invited, and anyone archived, never count.
Where your plan sets its own number, that number applies and this policy doesn't change it. Clips count towards your storage. API and MCP calls follow your plan's hourly limit, and emails follow our sending limits.
3. What happens if you reach one
We tell you in the app. Everything you already have keeps working: nobody is removed and nothing stops. You just can't add a new one until we've spoken. Message us and tell us what you need, and we'll work it out with you, which usually means raising your limit.
4. What unlimited doesn't cover
- Contributors are real people working with your business, one account each. Accounts aren't shared, resold or given to other businesses.
- Invited clients are your actual clients. Invitations aren't for mailing lists or audiences.
- Shared inboxes carry your business's own mail, not bulk or cold email.
- Scripts and automated accounts aren't used to get around a limit.
5. If usage looks far outside this
We'll talk to you first and work it out. We only step in without talking to you first where usage puts the Services or other customers at risk, as sections 15 and 17 of our Terms of Service set out.
6. Changes to this policy
We may change this policy. Section 24 of our Terms of Service says how we tell you.
