In March, Plutio had our very first team meetup in Istanbul, Turkey. It marked the first time that many on our team met each other and the first visit to Turkey for many of us. Here's how we spent our time in Istanbul:
1. Discussing the Future of Plutio
We discussed several possible redesigns of the interface and ultimately settled on a direction that we think the community at large will love. Soon, we'll be officially announcing an entirely new version of Plutio, Plutio 2.0, which will have tons of new features never before seen in Plutio.

2. Team Building While Exploring the City
From learning about the days when Istanbul was part of the Roman Empire, to exploring the vast networks of alleyways and finding the perfect local restaurants for our team meetings, it's safe to say that the team feels a greater sense of togetherness and camaraderie after spending a week together in Istanbul (while unfortunately, we didn't have the whole team, they were with us in spirit).

3. Creating Great Content
It was great having the content team together to not only discuss the future of content but also get some great photos and videos that we can share with the larger community. If you haven't checked our Bader's latest video, you can see it here:

4. Meeting with Local Plutiopians
We sent out an email to all of the Plutiopians who live in Turkey and were super grateful to have an opportunity to meet up with some of you. Many thanks to Mehmet of Focal Haus, who took us to some amazing places off the typical tourist path. It's safe to say that Turkish hospitality is outdone by none.

5. Personal Work Time
Team members also had time to explore the city, work independently, and reflect on the awesomeness of traveling abroad while working remotely. While we love collaborating in person, we also had the space to hunker down solo and really chip away at what needed to be done.

Thank you to all of the Plutiopians who met with us, and thank you to everyone in our community who we continue to strive to make a better Plutio for.
