What this contract contains

1) Ap calculus

1:1 TUTORING SERVICES AGREEMENT

Thanks for asking us to help. We will run sessions in a way that matches how tutoring actually works: we look at the class materials, find what is not sticking, then practice until the student can do the work independently and under time pressure. The terms below are the ground rules we both follow so the plan stays clear and progress is easy to track.

2) What you get

We provide one-to-one AP Calculus tutoring built around your student’s current class, teacher materials, and upcoming deadlines. Deliverables included: Intake notes and plan; Weekly practice set; Error list that updates; Test-prep timed set; Session recap; AP exam review outline. We can work from the teacher’s packet, homework, and past quizzes, and we will tell you what to bring or upload before each session. Sessions may be in-person or online, as shown on the proposal, and we will agree the recurring session day and time in writing (text or email is fine) before we start.

3) Payment

Because this is a recurring tutoring plan, we bill on a repeating schedule (the exact period and rate are on your proposal). We send an invoice at the start of each billing period, and payment is due by the due date shown on the invoice. If a payment is late, we will pause future sessions until the account is current, and we will hold your regular time slot for a short window while we sort it out. If you think an invoice is wrong, tell us quickly and we will review it with you and fix any mistakes. You are only billed for the tutoring time and agreed materials in the proposal, plus any approved add-ons.

4) Adjusting the plan

Tutoring changes week to week, so we treat “revisions” as changes to the plan and materials we prepare between sessions. Each billing period includes one reasonable update to the Intake notes and plan based on new grades, a new unit, or teacher feedback. Small tweaks during a session are part of tutoring and do not count as a revision. If you want a bigger shift, like adding extra sessions that week, building a custom cram plan, or switching the focus to a different course, we will price the change and agree it in writing before we do the extra work. That keeps expectations clear and avoids surprise charges.

5) Who owns what

Once you have paid for a billing period, you may use the materials we create for the student’s personal study, including the Weekly practice set, Test-prep timed set, and AP exam review outline. We are glad for the student to print, annotate, and keep those. Our behind-the-scenes work stays ours, including templates, question banks we build over time, teaching notes, and any tools we use to generate practice. Please do not repost, sell, or share our materials outside your household, a school support plan, or the student’s direct tutoring use. If you need a school accommodation letter or similar, ask us and we will tell you what we can provide.

6) Sharing examples

We do not need to share your student’s personal information to show what we do. If we want to use an example for our portfolio or training, we will keep it anonymous and remove names, school identifiers, and any details that point to the student. If you prefer that we do not use any of your materials or results at all, tell us in writing (email or text is fine) and we will treat that as an opt-out going forward. If you share a testimonial, we will not post it with a full student name unless you clearly ask us to.

7) Ongoing schedule

This engagement runs as recurring tutoring. Your plan renews automatically each billing period using the cadence on the proposal, and we reserve your standing session time based on that ongoing commitment. You can end the recurring plan by giving us notice before the next billing period starts, so we do not invoice the next cycle. If you cancel after a new billing period has started, you are responsible for sessions already delivered in that period and any preparation we already completed for upcoming sessions. We can also end the recurring plan if the schedule stops working, the student is not attending sessions, or the account stays unpaid. If that happens, we will tell you in advance and confirm the end date in writing.

8) What we can promise

We will show up prepared, teach clearly, and focus on the exact skills the student is missing. What we cannot promise is a specific grade, score, or admission outcome, because results also depend on attendance, effort between sessions, the teacher’s grading, and the difficulty of the assessments. We are not responsible for a missed quiz, deadline, or submission if we were not given the details in time, or if the student chooses not to follow the plan. If we ever make a mistake in our materials, tell us and we will correct it quickly and adjust the plan. Our responsibility is limited to the tutoring services you have paid us for.

9) Ending services

Either of us can end services by giving notice as described in the “Ongoing schedule” section. On ending, we will send a final invoice for any unpaid sessions already delivered and any agreed preparation already completed up to the end date. Once the balance is paid, we will provide the student’s latest Session recap, the current Error list that updates, and any prepared practice sets that were part of the paid period and not yet delivered. We will also confirm in writing that the recurring plan has stopped so you know no further invoices will be sent. If you want to restart later, we can usually pick up quickly with a short re-intake based on the latest class materials.
