Understanding the main menu

The main menu is the vertical navigation on the left side of your screen. It's how you move between features, jump into projects, and access settings. The menu can be collapsed to just icons if you need more screen space.

Collapsing the menu

Click the collapse button at the bottom of the main menu to shrink it to just icons. Click again to expand it. The collapsed state is saved per person.

Pinned items

Below the main menu items, a Pinned section shows any items you've pinned for quick access. You can pin pages, projects, or other items by using the pin action from their page header.

Customising the main menu

You can reorder items, add dividers, add custom links, and show or hide items. The menu can be customised separately for each user role, so your team, clients, and owners can each see a different menu layout. See Customising the main menu for the full guide.

Feature visibility

If a feature is disabled (for example, you've turned off Scheduler in its settings page), its menu item disappears automatically. You don't need to manually remove it from the menu layout. When you re-enable the feature, the menu item comes back.
