The short version
You pick up a car that stays glossier between washes, sheds grime faster, and cleans up with a safe wash routine that fits a daily driver. The finish looks sharp in daylight because the correction and the final checks happen before the coating is signed off.
We’ll correct the paint first, then apply the coating on properly prepped panels and check it in sun before it leaves. Next up is choosing the level of correction and the days you can be without the car.
We don’t treat coating like a shortcut. We wash and decontaminate first, machine-polish to remove haze and swirls, then panel-wipe so the coating bonds to clean paint. After cure time we inspect under hard light and outdoors, so you don’t find high spots later in direct sun.
How the work runs
We run the job in order, with one person leading each stage and a final check outdoors before handover.
1. Wash and decon Day 1 Pre-rinse, foam and contact wash, then chemically decontaminate to remove tar and iron fallout. Clay where needed, rinse again, dry fully, and mask edges and trims before any machine work starts. 2. Machine polish Day 1-2 Measure and inspect the paint, then carry out either a single-stage polish or a two-stage correction depending on the finish we agree. Wipe down between sets so we’re polishing the paint, not hiding marks in oils. 3. Panel wipe and coat Day 2-3 Panel-wipe each section to remove polishing residue, then apply the ceramic coating in controlled lighting. Level and buff within the working window, then check from multiple angles so no streaks sit on the surface. 4. Cure and sign-off Day 3-4 Allow cure time inside, then carry out a final inspection under hard light and outside in daylight. Correct any high spots we find, dress tyres and trims as needed, and walk you around what to do on the first washes.
Wash and decon prep
Full wash, iron and tar removal, clay where required, then dried and masked ready for machine work and coating. This is the base the coating bonds to.
PAINT CORRECTION STAGE
Either a single-stage machine polish or a two-stage correction, agreed before we start. The aim is a finish that reads clean in daylight, not just under workshop lights.
CERAMIC COATING ON PAINT
Single-stage ceramic coating application (paint) or multi-layer ceramic coating application (paint), applied to prepared paint with a panel wipe beforehand and a full inspection after cure.
Wheels-off wheel protection
Wheels-off ceramic coating (wheels and calipers), with the wheels removed for access, cleaned, coated and refitted. Torque settings follow manufacturer spec for refit.
GLASS COATING
Ceramic coating for glass (windscreen and side glass), applied after a proper glass clean and prep so wipers run smoothly and wet weather visibility holds up.
EXTERIOR TRIM COATING
Trim and plastic coating (exterior) to protect plastics from fading and make them easier to wash down. Applied to clean, dry trim after prep.
What it costs
These prices cover the full ceramic coating package as set out above, including prep, correction, coating, cure time, and final inspection.

Booking and payment
To book the work, we take 40% when you sign. The remaining 60% is invoiced when the job is finished. All invoices are payable within 14 days of the invoice date.
Time with the car. We schedule the ceramic coating package over Day 1 to Day 4. Cure time is part of that window. If we find paint that needs a different approach, we’ll tell you before we add time.
What we need from you. Please deliver the car on the agreed day with enough fuel to move it in and out of the unit. Remove loose items from boot and cabin. Let us know about any alarms, trackers, or locking wheel nuts.
Changes to the work. If you want to change the scope once we’ve started, we’ll price the change before we do it. We do not start additional work on a verbal nod in the yard, because it is how invoices drift.
Finish checks and high spots
We check levelling under inspection lights and then again in natural light before sign-off. If a high spot or streak shows after cure, bring the car back and we’ll correct it in our bay.
Aftercare and washing. We’ll hand the car over with a simple wash plan that keeps the coating working. Use pH-neutral shampoo and a clean wash mitt. Avoid automatic brush washes, because they reintroduce swirls fast.
Condition of the paint. Correction improves what is there, it does not make repainted panels and factory paint match perfectly. If we see thin paint, heavy sanding marks, or fresh respray, we’ll stop and talk through safe limits.
