What's the difference between a task set and a project task board?
A task set is a standalone group of tasks that isn't tied to any project. You can use task sets for internal to-do lists, personal tasks, or recurring checklists. A project task board lives inside a project and is connected to that project's timeline, team, and client. Both support columns, assignees, due dates, and filters, but the project board pulls in project context automatically. Learn more at Tasks overview.
Can clients see my tasks?
Only if you choose to share them. By default, tasks aren't visible to clients. To make a task visible, mark it as client-visible on the task itself, or adjust the project sharing settings so clients can view the task board. You have full control over what's shown and what stays internal.
How do I create a recurring invoice?
Open the Subscriptions page (under Financials in the main menu) and create a new subscription. Add your line items, set the subscriber, choose the repeat interval (every X days, weeks, months, or years), pick a start date, and select the billing method: Subscription (manual billing) sends an invoice each cycle for the client to pay, while Subscription (auto billing) charges the saved card automatically. For details, see Invoice subscriptions - recurring invoicing and Invoice subscriptions - recurring billing.
Can I send proposals and contracts together?
Yes. You can attach a contract to a proposal so the client receives both in a single link. They'll review the proposal first, then sign the contract, and optionally pay a deposit, all in one flow. See Proposals overview and Contracts overview.
What are custom pages?
Custom pages are internal pages you build with a drag-and-drop editor. You can use them for dashboards, onboarding checklists, team wikis, reports, or anything else your team needs. Add widgets like charts, embeds, task lists, and text blocks. They're available from the main menu once enabled. Learn more at Custom pages.
How do channels differ from direct messages?
A direct message is a private conversation between you and one or more people. A channel is a persistent conversation space that anyone on the team (or invited clients) can join and leave at any time. Channels are great for team-wide discussions, project updates, or topic-based conversations. See Channels for more.
