Proposals overview
Proposals are client-facing documents where content, pricing, and e-signatures all live in one place. Each proposal is built with a drag-and-drop block editor, combining text, images, videos, embeds, service tables with line items, and signature blocks into a single shareable document that clients review, approve, and sign without leaving your branded portal.
Proposal statuses
Every proposal carries a status that updates as events happen: draft (created but not shared), pending (sent to the client, awaiting approval), accepted (signed by the client), overdue (past the expiry date without approval), declined (rejected by the client), and cancelled (withdrawn before the client responded). Status changes are tracked automatically, so the proposal list always reflects where each document stands.
The proposal list
The proposal list shows all proposals with their status, client name, amount, and creation date. Proposals can be filtered by status, client, date range, or linked project, and sorted by any column. Each row links directly to the proposal editor, so any document is one click from editing.
How proposals connect to the rest of Plutio
Proposals don't sit in isolation. A signed proposal can trigger an automatic invoice from the pricing table, generate a project with tasks and milestones, and invite the client to your workspace. Contracts can be linked to proposals so a single signature covers both documents. Because proposals connect to invoices, projects, contracts, and client invitations, the full journey from pitch to kickoff runs inside one document.
