Projects overview
When you click Projects in the main menu, you land on a page showing every project in your workspace. From here you can create projects, filter by status, client, or date, and switch between views.
Project views
The Projects page supports three views:
- Table - rows and columns showing project name, status, client, dates, budget, and custom fields. Good for scanning and quick edits.
- Cards - projects as visual cards in a grid. Useful for a quick overview of active work.
- Timeline - a horizontal bar chart showing projects by their start and end dates. Useful for planning capacity.
Switch between views using the view switcher in the toolbar.
What's inside a project
Each project is a container for everything related to one engagement. When you open a project, you'll see tabs across the top:
- Overview - a summary of the project with key details, status, and progress.
- Tasks - the project's task boards. Each project can have multiple task boards with their own task groups and views.
- Transactions - payment records linked to the project.
- Invoices - invoices created for this project's client.
- Proposals - proposals linked to this project.
- Contracts - contracts linked to this project.
- Calendar - events and deadlines for this project.
- Timesheet - time entries tracked against tasks in this project.
- Conversations - project-specific conversations that also appear in the Inbox.
- Files - uploaded files, documents, and links attached to this project.
- Wiki - a knowledge base scoped to this project.
- Activities - a log of every change made in the project.
- Custom pages - interactive pages you build with draggable blocks (charts, metrics, lists, embeds). Can serve as a project overview or client portal.
Each tab scopes its content to that project only, so the Invoices tab shows only invoices for this project, and the Tasks tab shows only tasks created within it.
Project settings and configuration
Every project carries its own configuration:
- Status - custom, colour-coded statuses you define for your workflow.
- Client - the contact or company linked to the project.
- Start and end dates - for timeline planning.
- Budget - fixed-price or hourly budget tracking.
- Members - team members and clients invited to collaborate.
- Custom fields - any custom fields you've added for projects.
- Permissions - per-project permission overrides that control what specific people can see and do within this project.
Filtering and bulk actions
The toolbar lets you filter projects by status, client, date, contributor, or custom fields. Filters can be combined and saved.
Select multiple projects to apply bulk actions: archive, unarchive, or delete.
