Project activities tab
Every action that happens inside a project is recorded automatically. The activities tab displays a chronological feed of task changes, invoice events, file uploads, conversation activity, and project-level updates, so the full history of the project is always accessible.
What gets tracked
Activity entries cover actions across every feature within the project:
- Tasks: creation, completion, assignment changes, due date updates, and status moves
- Invoices: creation, sending, payments received, and status changes
- Files: uploads, deletions, and folder changes
- Conversations: new threads started and replies added
- Proposals and contracts: creation, sending, viewing, and signing events
- Project-level changes: status updates, field edits, budget changes, and permission modifications
Each entry includes a timestamp, the name of the person who performed the action, and a direct link to the affected item. Clicking an activity entry opens the relevant task, invoice, file, or conversation directly.
Filtering activities
The feed can be filtered by activity type, so viewing only task-related actions or only invoice events takes one click. Filtering by team member is also available, which makes reviewing a specific contributor's work within the project straightforward. The activities tab serves as an audit trail for the project, making progress tracking and accountability visible without needing to check each tab individually.
