What you can control per project
- View - see the project and its contents
- Edit - edit project details
- Edit status - change the project status
- View contributors - see who's on the project
- Edit contributors - add or remove project members
- Edit permissions - change project-level permissions
- Move boards - reorder task boards within the project
- View budget - see the project's budget and used amount
- Delete - delete the project
How to set project-level permissions
Project-level permissions are configured through custom roles. Each role can have its own set of permissions per project. You can also set permissions for individual people.
- Go to Settings → User roles.
- Select the role you want to configure.
- Under entity permissions, find the specific project.
- Toggle the permissions on or off for that role and project.
Tip: When you create a project from a template, the template's permissions are copied to the new project automatically.
