Project calendar and timesheet tabs
The calendar and timesheet tabs surface time-related data scoped to the project: scheduled events on the calendar, and tracked hours on the timesheet. Both tabs filter down to the project automatically, so only relevant entries appear.
Calendar tab
The project calendar shows events linked to the project: task due dates, scheduled meetings, and any calendar events associated with the project's tasks or contacts. Events display on a monthly, weekly, or daily view. New events created from the project calendar are automatically linked to the project, which keeps scheduling tied to the work.
Timesheet tab
The timesheet pulls together all time entries tracked on the project's tasks. Each entry shows the task name, team member, duration, date, billing rate, and cost rate. The timesheet can be filtered by team member and date range, so reviewing hours for a specific contributor or a particular week takes a few clicks.
Billing and cost rates
Billing rates determine what the client pays per hour, and cost rates track what the time actually costs your business (useful when team members have different salary levels). Both rates apply per time entry, so the same project can have entries at different rates depending on who logged the time and what task was worked on.
Converting time to invoices
Unbilled time entries from the timesheet can be converted to invoice line items directly. The conversion carries over task names, hours, and billing rates into the invoice, so no data needs to be re-entered. Moving from tracked hours to a ready-to-send invoice happens from the timesheet tab without switching screens.
