Ad spend runs every day, which means a buyer needs to see where the money goes before a month of budget disappears into the wrong clicks. The Google Ads proposal gives the plan in an order a client can read and check, so the work ties back to calls, forms, or orders instead of vague traffic, with pricing and sign-off at the end under olive-gold accents and Raleway headings over Inter body text.

The pages move from Overview into About me, then proof in Selected work and a longer Portfolio section, before the process shows up in How I work. The middle of the proposal gets specific about what changes, starting with Account audit and fix list and then Conversion tracking setup and qa ga4, so the client can see what will be measured, what gets rebuilt, and what gets checked before any launch happens.

  • Overview Opens with what gets checked in the account, what gets counted as a result, and how waste gets stopped with intent mapping and negatives.
  • How I work Explains the rebuild order, starting with tracking and moving into intent control, structure, and ads, using the same names a client will see in Google Ads.
  • What it costs Prices the single Rebuild Core item, so you replace the template price with your own before sending.
  • Getting started Holds the acceptance step with a signature and fee summary, plus the access and booking details that kick off the work.
  • Payment and Measurement States the 40% to book and 60% on handover, plus approval rules, access requirements, and how conversion tracking gets tested and signed off.

A client receives the proposal, reads the scope and the tracking approach, then reaches What it costs for the single priced item and signs in Getting started. Payment and Measurement cover the booking split, approval steps, access needed, and what happens when tracking can’t be verified, leaving both sides clear on what “working” means once campaigns are live.

We went from spending hours on every proposal to creating fully customized ones in under 5 minutes. That's not an exaggeration - we timed it.

What to include in a google ads proposal

PartWhat it covers

About me

Gives space for the specialist background and the working rules around intent control, account structure, and only counting conversions that can be traced.

Selected work

Lists recent rebuild examples, so a client can scan the kinds of fixes and outcomes being discussed.

Portfolio

Expands on the examples with short case descriptions, covering local lead gen, workshop enquiries, and e-commerce Performance Max reset work.

How I work

Describes the step-by-step order of a rebuild, including the account check, intent mapping, negatives, and how changes get explained.

Account audit and fix list

Defines the written fix list and the planned Search and Performance Max build-out, organised by what gets fixed first.

Conversion tracking setup and qa ga4

Covers GA4 and Tag Manager setup or repair, landing page diagnostics, and the reporting layout that matches campaign names in the ad account.

What it costs

Contains a priced items table for Rebuild Core, so you swap in your own price and scope notes before the client sees it.

Getting started

Includes a signature and fee summary, then spells out what happens after acceptance: booking payment and access to Ads, GA4, and Tag Manager.

Payment

States the deposit and balance terms, invoice due window, how out-of-scope changes get approved, and what inputs and access are needed to start.

Measurement

Defines what tracking setup and QA covers, how approvals work, when steps pause, and what gets handed over at the end.

Who it is for

Google Ads specialists and PPC freelancers sending a paid search proposal to an owner-manager who needs lead and order tracking they can verify.

The proposal in full

Overview

You can open the account and see what’s running, what it costs, and what it’s producing: calls, forms, or orders tied back to the ads that triggered them.

You’re looking for a plan you can read before money goes in, and tracking you can trust once campaigns are live. You’ll end up with a clean account, working conversion tracking, and a structure that’s easy to pause, fix, and scale. If you’re happy with the price, you sign and I start the checks the next business day.

I start by proving what gets counted as a lead or an order, because you can’t judge ads on gut feel. Then I map Italian search intent to your real jobs, build campaigns around that map, and add the negatives that stop waste. I keep budgets split by intent so you can see what is learning and what is selling.

About me

I’m Marco Rizzoli, a Google Ads specialist, and this is the only work I do. I got into Google Ads the same way a lot of owner managers do: by being told “you should run ads” and then seeing money disappear into vague clicks. I built my process around the parts that stop that happening: intent, structure, and measurement you can check yourself.

I’m a good fit when you want the account to make sense, not just spend. I keep campaigns small enough to manage and strict enough to control, with negatives and match types doing most of the heavy lifting. I also won’t launch tracking that I can’t test end to end. If a form submit or a call can’t be traced, it doesn’t get counted.

Selected work

A few recent Google Ads rebuilds where the fix was mostly structure, intent control, and conversion tracking you can verify in the account.

Portfolio

Local service lead rebuild. Rebuilt Search around job-level intent and added a negative map in Italian. Cleaned match types, split budgets by intent, and fixed lead tracking so each form submit shows up with the right campaign.

Workshop enquiries rebuild. Took a mixed account and separated brand, high-intent services, and research clicks into different campaigns. Swapped broad-for-everything into mapped match types so spend stayed on workshop jobs, not curiosity searches.

E-commerce PMax reset. Rebuilt Performance Max with a clean feed check, proper conversion selection, and asset grouping that matched product lines. Added a landing page check so the first click didn’t die on a slow or confusing page.

“I could finally see which searches brought calls, and which ones were wasting money.”

Owner-manager, a small local business

How I work

I run rebuilds in a tight order so you can see what’s true before you spend more. Tracking comes first, then intent control, then structure and ads. I’ll tell you what I’m changing and why, using the same names you’ll see inside Google Ads.

1. Account check Days 1-2 I review the account structure, search terms, current match types, existing negatives, and conversion setup. I also check what is being counted as a conversion in Google Ads and GA4. You’ll answer a few short questions about your best jobs and the enquiries you do not want. 2. Intent map Days 3-4 I map keywords to real buyer intent in Italian, including local intent where it matters, and I write the first negative list to block the common wrong searches. I’ll show you the map in plain categories so you can say “yes, these are our jobs” or flag what to exclude. 3. Build and tracking QA Week 2 I build the new Search and Performance Max campaigns, split budgets by intent, and write ad copy variants plus the assets list I need from you. In parallel I set up conversion tracking in GA4 and Google Tag Manager, then test calls and forms so conversions fire once, with the right source. 4. Launch and tighten Week 3 I launch the rebuilt structure, then watch search terms, costs, and conversion signals closely. If results are flat, I don’t “wait and hope”. I’ll cut waste by adding negatives, adjust match types, and shift budget toward the parts that show buying intent, using the numbers in the account.

Account audit and fix list

A written list of what is currently wasting spend or hiding results, plus the exact changes I’ll make. It’s organised by impact so you can see what gets fixed first.

NEW SEARCH CAMPAIGN BUILD-OUT

A rebuilt Search structure with campaigns grouped by intent, mapped keywords and match types, and the negative keywords that keep you off the wrong Italian searches.

PERFORMANCE MAX BUILD-OUT

A Performance Max setup with conversions selected correctly, asset groups organised by what you sell, and settings that keep the campaign pointed at sales and leads, not noise.

Conversion tracking setup and qa ga4

4 and Google Tag Manager setup or repair, with tests that confirm calls, forms, or orders record properly. You’ll know what counts as a conversion and how it’s verified.

LANDING PAGE DIAGNOSTICS

A page-by-page check for the landing pages you’ll send traffic to, with specific fixes for tracking, speed, message match, and the point where people drop off.

REPORTING LAYOUT

A simple reporting view that shows spend, leads or orders, and cost per result by campaign. It uses the same campaign names you see in Google Ads so it’s easy to cross-check.

What it costs

Pick the tier based on how much of the account you want rebuilt in this round. All three are fixed-scope rebuilds, priced to match.

Priced items

Getting started

If you want me to start the Google Ads account rebuild, the first step is just to lock in the dates and access.

1. Sign this proposal to book the work. 2. Pay the 40% booking invoice within 14 days. 3. Send access to Google Ads, GA4, and Google Tag Manager so I can begin day one.

Signature

Fee summary

Payment

40% is due to book the work when you sign. The remaining 60% is due when I hand over the finished work. Each invoice is payable within 14 days of its date.

Changes. If you want changes beyond the scope listed in this proposal, I’ll write the change in plain language before I do it. I only start extra work after you approve the added cost and timing.

Access. To start Day 1, I need admin access to your Google Ads account, GA4, and Google Tag Manager. If access is delayed, the timeline shifts by the same number of days.

Client inputs. Before I build, I’ll ask for your offer list, service areas, and any jobs you do not want. I use these to write negatives and intent mapping so spend does not drift.

Measurement

Conversion tracking setup and QA covers setting up and testing calls and forms or purchases as agreed. If your site blocks tracking or forms are hosted somewhere I cannot tag, I’ll tell you what needs changing before launch.

Approvals. You approve the final campaign structure, budgets, and conversion actions before I launch. If I don’t hear back within two business days on an approval request, I’ll pause that step and move to the next item I can complete.

Hand over. When the rebuild is finished, you keep full ownership of the accounts, campaigns, and tracking containers I worked in. I’ll leave everything organised so you can check search terms, budgets, and conversions yourself.

Questions about this proposal template

What should a Google Ads proposal include?

A Google Ads proposal usually covers what will be audited, what will be rebuilt, how conversion tracking will be set up and tested, and what the work costs. This proposal also includes sign-off, payment terms, and measurement and approval rules so the client knows what gets checked before launch.

How do you prove Google Ads leads are coming from the ads?

Proof normally comes from conversion tracking that records calls, forms, or purchases and ties them back to campaigns and ads. The proposal describes a tracking setup and QA step, plus a reporting view that matches the campaign names in the ad account for cross-checking.

How do you stop paying for irrelevant clicks on Google Ads?

Waste usually drops when campaigns get built around job-level intent and the account uses negative keywords and controlled match types. The proposal describes intent mapping and a negative list as part of the rebuild work.

What’s the difference between a Google Ads audit and a rebuild?

An audit identifies what’s wasting spend or hiding results and lists the exact changes to make. A rebuild applies those changes by restructuring campaigns and settings, fixing conversion tracking, and checking landing pages and reporting.

Do Google Ads proposals include Performance Max work?

Some do, and this one includes a Performance Max build-out alongside Search work. The scope describes conversion selection, asset group organisation, and settings aimed at sales and leads rather than low-signal activity.

What payment terms make sense for Google Ads management work?

Many fixed-scope rebuilds use a booking payment and a final balance on handover. The payment section here uses 40% to book and 60% due when the finished work is delivered, with invoices payable within 14 days.
