Weeks of recording can still land in a course that feels patchy, looks different from lesson to lesson, and leaves learners lost halfway through. An online course proposal gives the buyer a clear picture of what gets built, what gets tested before launch, and what they’re paying for, so the work doesn’t drift once production starts. The pages run in teal and amber with Raleway headings and Inter body text, which keeps the plan and pricing easy to scan.

The proposal opens with Summary, then introduces the builder in Who you are working with before walking through How the order runs, from kickoff and mapping through scripts, slides, recording, and getting everything working inside the LMS. The middle sections spell out what “done” means for the build, including Course outline and module map and LMS build and configuration, so the buyer sees the structure, the learner downloads, the lesson pages, and the checkout and email flow in one read. A buyer can also skip parts because the pricing breaks into separate line items, leaving the scope clearer than a single bundled fee.

  • Summary Frames the outcome of the build and the overall approach, so the buyer understands the plan before they reach pricing.
  • How the order runs Explains the workflow from kickoff and mapping through scripts, slides, recording, and building in the LMS, with review points called out.
  • Order summary Holds a priced items table with five selectable line items, so the client can choose what’s included and you can replace the template prices.
  • Next steps Carries the signature and fee summary, then states what happens after signing, including the booking payment timing and the intake materials you’ll ask for.
  • Access and accounts Covers logins for LMS and related tools, plus handover, ownership of raw files and source assets, and how changes get priced after sign-off.

Once the prices match your own, you send the proposal, the client picks what they want and signs online, and the template points straight to Next steps so nobody’s guessing what happens after acceptance... including the booking payment timing, what materials you need to start, and what access is required for setup and testing.

We went from spending hours on every proposal to creating fully customized ones in under 5 minutes. That's not an exaggeration - we timed it.

The proposal in full

Summary

You end up with a course that feels organised, looks consistent on every lesson page, and guides learners from the first module to completion, with the LMS, checkout, and emails tested end to end before you open the doors.

Online course build covers the plan, the production, and the build so learners can follow it and you can launch without guessing where things break. Next, I’ll confirm the platform, the timeline, and what I need from you to start.

I start by mapping the course into modules and lessons so each piece has a job and a clear next step for the learner. Then I turn that map into scripts, slides, and worksheets that match your voice. Once the content is ready, I build the course inside your LMS, test the checkout and emails, and fix what fails before launch.

Who you are working with

I’m Inês Carvalho, a course designer and builder. I started doing this work after seeing the same pattern across workshops and Zoom trainings: great material trapped in live delivery. Online course build lets that material travel. I do the planning, the content production, and the LMS build myself, so decisions stay tight and the course keeps moving toward a finished launch.

People hire me when they want the course to ship, not sit in drafts. I use checklists, clear approvals, and deadlines you can see on a calendar. I don’t ask you to learn a new stack mid-project. If something will slow recording, break navigation, or cause refund emails, I’ll point at the exact step where it happens and fix it before it reaches learners.

How the order runs

Once you sign, I turn what you already have into a course plan and then into finished lessons inside your LMS. You’ll know what I need from you before each step starts, and you’ll see the course working in the platform before anything goes live.

1. Kickoff and map On order I collect your existing material and ask a short set of questions about learners, outcomes, and how you sell the course. Then I build a module map and lesson list you can review. You approve the structure before I write scripts or build anything in the LMS. 2. Scripts and slide pack Within a week I write lesson scripts and build a slide pack that matches your brand and pacing. You review for accuracy and voice, and you mark anything that needs a legal or policy check. Once you approve, I lock the content so recording stays efficient and edits stay contained. 3. Recording and capture Scheduled day I set up the recording flow and capture video and audio to a consistent standard across lessons. If you’re presenting on camera, I’ll run the session so you can focus on delivery. If you prefer voiceover, I’ll guide the capture so timing and screen work match the script. 4. Build and launch test On delivery I build the course in your chosen LMS, upload lessons and downloads, and set navigation so learners always know what to do next. Then I test checkout, emails, and enrolment from the learner side. You review the finished course in the platform, I fix issues, and then I deliver the final build.

What do you actually need from me to start?

I need your existing training material, your target learner, and the outcome the course must produce. If you’ve been teaching it live, I’ll also ask for a rough run-of-show or recording of a session so I can match your pacing and examples.

ARE WE BUILDING THIS IN TEACHABLE, THINKIFIC, OR MOODLE?

I can build in any of the three. If you already have one picked, I’ll work inside it. If you don’t, I’ll recommend one based on what you’re selling, how you enrol learners, and who needs admin access after launch.

HOW MANY HOURS OF FINISHED COURSE DOES THIS USUALLY TURN INTO?

Most live trainings compress when they become on-demand lessons, because you remove repeats, Q&A loops, and detours. After I see your material and module map, I’ll give you a range for finished hours and lesson count before recording day.

WHO OWNS THE RAW VIDEO FILES AND SOURCE SLIDES AT THE END?

You do. On delivery, I hand over the raw video files I captured and the editable source files for slides and worksheets, along with the final exported assets that are uploaded into your LMS.

Payment

50% is due to book the work when you sign. The remaining 50% is due when I deliver the online course build. Invoices are payable within 14 days of the invoice date.

What I need to start. I start after I have your existing training material, your target learner, and the outcome the course must produce. If you’ve taught it live, a run-of-show or recording helps me match your pacing.

Platform choice. I can build in Teachable, Thinkific, or Moodle. If you’ve already chosen a platform, I build inside it. If not, I’ll recommend one based on your sales flow, enrolment, and admin access needs.

Reviews and approval. You’ll review the module map and the scripts and slide pack before recording day, and you’ll review the built course before launch testing. I only move to the next step after I have your written approval.

Access and accounts

You’ll provide access to the LMS and any email or checkout tools needed for setup and testing. If access is delayed, the schedule shifts by the same amount because I can’t build or test without logins.

Handover and ownership. On delivery, you own the raw video files I captured and the editable source files for slides and worksheets, plus the final exported assets uploaded into your LMS. I keep a backup for 30 days.

Changes after sign-off. If you ask for changes after you’ve approved a step, I’ll price that work before I start. Most changes come from new lessons, new examples, or new requirements discovered after the map is approved.

Limits and liability. I’m responsible for the work I build and the files I deliver. I can’t be responsible for third-party outages, platform bugs, payment processor holds, or deliverability issues in email tools, but I’ll help you troubleshoot.
