A salon invoice covers the services provided, the line-item prices, the totals due, and when payment is due.
A client sits in the chair with a reference photo and a specific fear in the back of their mind: the cut goes shorter than agreed, or the colour turns out warmer than it looked in the salon mirror. A Salon Invoice puts the numbers in writing after the appointment, so the client can see what got charged and what the balance comes to.
The invoice starts with Line items, which is where the placeholder service gets replaced with your own salon services and pricing. Under Payment is due on the date, the client sees the totals and the payment wording in plain terms, including advance payment for sessions and a 14-day window from the invoice date. The last section closes with a short reassurance that the work stays consent-led, on a dusty-rose page under Space Grotesk headings with Roboto body text.
- Line items Swap the placeholder service for your own cut, colour, or add-on lines, then set the prices for each.
- Payment is due on the date Check the totals and keep or edit the payment terms, including advance payment for sessions and the 14-day due window.
- We listened, and we’ll keep you looking like yourself Leave the closing note as-is or adjust the wording to match how your chair-side consultation is explained.
Once the invoice is in your workspace, you fill in the services and prices, then send it to the client as part of invoices, payments and receipts. The same invoice can be paid online if you connect a payment method, or left as pay-later terms if you don’t.
We went from spending hours on every proposal to creating fully customized ones in under 5 minutes. That's not an exaggeration - we timed it.
What to include in a salon invoice
| Part | What it covers |
|---|
Line items | A single starter line sits here as a placeholder, so you replace it with your own services and prices before sending. |
Payment is due on the date | The totals sit under this section, along with payment terms that explain when payment is due, how advance payment works for sessions, and what happens if payment is late. |
We listened, and we’ll keep you looking like yourself | A short closing section reinforces the consent-led approach behind the work, which you can keep or tweak to match how you communicate after an appointment. |
