The short version
You’ll be able to hear your vows and readings clearly, see the full ceremony and speeches without gaps, and watch a film that feels like your day as it happened.
Most couples come to us wanting the parts you can’t repeat covered properly, with sound you can actually hear even when the day runs late or the wind gets up. You’ll end up with a film that lets you relive the ceremony, the speeches, and the pace of the day without us becoming a distraction. Next, we’ll confirm the coverage option and lock in the date.
We plan sound first, then cameras. We bring a mic plan for your ceremony, run multi-camera coverage so nothing relies on one angle, and capture speeches with a backup track even if the DJ feed fails. After the wedding, we edit twice: a long documentary cut for the full story, then a shorter highlight film for easy rewatching.
About us
We’re a small wedding videography team based in Galway, and we’ve built our whole approach around one thing couples worry about for good reason: sound. Churches, windy entrances, and venues with changing rules are normal here, so we arrive with options, not one perfect setup that only works on a quiet day.
We keep our footprint small during the ceremony and we stay out of the way, because you shouldn’t have to think about cameras once you’re at the top of the aisle. We also cut films that are easy to watch back years later: clean audio, steady coverage, and chapters that let you jump straight to the vows or the speeches.
Who you will work with
You’ll deal with the same four people from planning through delivery, so questions get answered by the person doing the work.
Team
Aisling O’Malley, Lead videographer. Aisling is our lead videographer and your main contact, keeping the ceremony coverage calm and unobtrusive while still getting the angles that matter.
Ciarán Walsh, Second videographer. Ciarán shoots as second videographer, covering reactions, entrances, and the parts that happen at the same time as the main action.
Niamh Fahy, Sound and gear tech. Niamh handles sound and gear, building the mic plan for ceremony and speeches and making sure we always have a clean backup track rolling.
Rory Keane, Editor. Rory edits your films, shaping a long documentary cut you can live in, then a highlight cut you can share without losing the heart of the day.
Selected work
Here are a few recent wedding films that show how we cover ceremonies, speeches, and the in-between moments without taking over the room.
Portfolio
Full-day church and venue film. A full-day shoot with a strict ceremony setup and a tight turnaround into speeches. We ran two ceremony cameras and a separate audio plan so the vows stayed clear even with movement at the altar.
Half-day coverage with speeches. Half-day coverage focused on arrivals, ceremony, and speeches. The DJ feed dropped mid-speech, so we used our own recorder and lav backup to keep the full set usable start to finish.
Ceremony-only filming. Ceremony-only coverage where we kept kit minimal and positioning discreet. We captured the full service, readings, and exit, then delivered a chaptered film so the couple could jump to key moments.
“We could hear every word, and we barely noticed the cameras all day.”
Bride, a church ceremony and hotel reception
Ceremony audio and mic plan
A written plan for how we’ll capture vows, readings, and any spoken parts, including what we’ll do if a mic on the couple isn’t allowed.
MULTI-CAMERA CEREMONY COVERAGE
A full ceremony recorded from multiple angles so you’re not relying on one camera or one operator for key moments like vows and rings.
SPEECHES FILMING AND AUDIO CAPTURE
Full speeches filmed with a primary audio source and a backup recording, so a missing DJ feed does not mean missing words.
Documentary edit with chapters
A longer film that runs in order and includes the full ceremony and full speeches, with chapter markers so you can jump to what you want.
HIGHLIGHT FILM EXPORT SET
A shorter highlight film cut for easy rewatching and sharing, delivered alongside the long film in ready-to-play digital files.
ONLINE DELIVERY GALLERY
A private online link where you can stream and download your films, with separate files for the highlight and the documentary cut.
Pricing
Pick based on how much of the day you want covered on camera. Each option includes our ceremony and speeches sound plan, plus the documentary cut and highlight film.

Getting started
If you’d like us to hold the date and start planning sound and coverage, the next steps are simple.
1. Sign the proposal to confirm the coverage option and date. 2. Pay the 30% booking payment to reserve the day in our diary. 3. We’ll send a short planning form and start the ceremony audio plan.
WILL YOU MIC US UP FOR THE VOWS, AND WHAT IF THE CHURCH WON’T ALLOW IT?
Yes, we’ll plan to mic you for the vows, but we never rely on only that. If the church won’t allow mics on you, we switch to a lectern mic for readings plus discreet recorders placed for clean pickup from where you’ll be standing.
DO YOU TAKE A FEED FROM THE BAND OR DJ FOR SPEECHES?
Yes, we’ll ask for a feed and we’ll take it when it’s available. We also run our own recorder and a backup mic so speeches are still covered if the feed is noisy, late, or never appears.
HOW LONG IS THE FINAL FILM, AND DO WE GET THE FULL CEREMONY AND FULL SPEECHES?
You’ll get a documentary cut that includes the full ceremony and full speeches, plus a shorter highlight film. The exact runtime depends on how long the ceremony and speeches run, but nothing important gets summarised away.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT’S LASHING RAIN AND WE’RE STUCK INSIDE? IF YOU’RE SICK?
If it’s raining, we adjust fast and film indoors with the same focus on sound, faces, and the flow of the day. If one of us is sick, we cover with another shooter from our team and keep the same edit and delivery plan.

Booking and payment
To book wedding videography, we take 30% when you sign. The remaining 70% is due when we hand over the finished films. Invoices are payable within 14 days of the invoice date.
What we need from you. We’ll ask for your ceremony location rules, your speeches schedule, and a contact for the venue or coordinator. If we have those details at least a week ahead, we can confirm mic placement and camera positions.
Changes to the plan. If timings, locations, or coverage hours change, tell us as soon as you can. We’ll confirm what changes on camera and in the edit before we do extra work, so the scope and price stay aligned.
Audio restrictions. If a church or venue won’t allow mics on you or the celebrant, we’ll switch to our backup approach on the day. We can’t force permission, but we can always record clean audio from another position.
Band and DJ feeds. We’ll request a feed for speeches and take it when it’s available. If the feed is noisy, late, or missing, we still record speeches on our own system so the film is not dependent on venue gear.
Weather and indoor cover
If it’s lashing rain or the schedule runs late, we’ll adapt and keep filming with the same focus on faces, sound, and what’s happening in the room. We don’t need outdoor shots to finish the films.
If one of us is sick. If a shooter is sick or can’t attend, we cover with another videographer from our team and keep the same plan for audio, coverage, and editing. You’ll still have a lead on the day and the same editor.
Delivery and handover. We deliver your films through an online gallery once the edit is complete and the final payment is made. Keep a copy downloaded when you receive it, since gallery links can be time-limited.
Ownership and use. Once paid in full, your finished films are yours for personal viewing and sharing. We keep the right to use short clips for our portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to.
