Does a project template come with the tasks already written?

How does a project template work?
Adding it creates a project in your workspace with its board and columns already in place. The copy is yours: nothing stays linked to the library version, so renaming a column or deleting a card changes only your project.
Do the tasks in a project template come with due dates?
No, and that is deliberate. A template carries the order the work runs in, not a calendar, so a board sitting in the library for a month never arrives with every card already overdue. The dates go on once you know when the job starts.
Can the columns and the tasks be changed?
Yes, all of them. Columns are renamed, reordered and recoloured, cards are moved between them, and each card opens into a task with its own description, assignee, dates, subtasks and files.
Can the same project template be used more than once?
Yes. Each time it is added you get a separate project, so one per client or one per job is the normal way to run it, and the plan is identical every time without anybody rebuilding it.
