Email digest settings
Email digests summarise workspace activity into a scheduled email, so updates can be reviewed in one message instead of individual notifications throughout the day.
Digest frequency
Digests can be set to daily, weekly, or disabled entirely. Daily digests arrive at the start of each day with a summary of the previous day's activity. Weekly digests arrive at the start of each week covering the past seven days. Each team member chooses their own frequency from account preferences.
What the digest includes
Each digest covers key activity across the workspace:
- New task assignments: tasks assigned since the last digest.
- Approaching deadlines: tasks and projects due within the next few days.
- Unread conversations: messages waiting for a reply.
- Overdue invoices: invoices past their due date and still unpaid.
The digest surfaces items that need attention, so missed notifications or overlooked deadlines get a second chance to be seen.
Digest and real-time notifications together
Digests and real-time notifications work independently. A team member can keep push and in-app notifications active for urgent events like mentions and payments, while relying on the daily digest for lower-priority updates like task assignments and approaching deadlines. Combining real-time alerts for high-priority events with a daily or weekly digest for task assignments, status changes, and approaching deadlines keeps the inbox focused without missing anything.
Digest preferences are personal to each team member and don't affect how other members receive their summaries.
