Snooze and drafts
Snoozing a conversation removes it from the inbox temporarily and brings it back at a specified time. Drafts auto-save as messages are typed, so work-in-progress replies are preserved even if the browser closes or the conversation is navigated away from.
How snoozing works
Snoozed conversations disappear from the inbox and reappear at the chosen time. Preset options include one hour, tomorrow morning, next week, and a custom date and time. When the snooze expires, the conversation returns to the inbox as if a new message arrived, complete with a notification to the person who snoozed it.
Snoozing is useful for conversations that need a response later but shouldn't clutter the inbox now. A client email that needs a follow-up on Friday can be snoozed until Friday morning, which keeps the inbox focused on what needs attention today.
Viewing snoozed conversations
Snoozed conversations can be viewed in a dedicated "Snoozed" filter. From there, the snooze can be cancelled (returning the conversation to the inbox immediately) or the snooze time can be changed. Snoozed conversations still count towards unread indicators if the original message hasn't been read.
Auto-saving drafts
Any text typed into the reply field is saved as a draft automatically. Navigating away from the conversation and coming back later restores the draft exactly where it was left off. Drafts are visible only to the person who wrote them, so half-finished replies don't appear to other team members or clients. Auto-saved drafts and snooze work together to keep the inbox clean without losing any work-in-progress replies or time-sensitive follow-ups.
