Zoom integration
The Zoom integration connects your Zoom account to Plutio through OAuth. Once connected, Zoom appears as a location option for calendar events and scheduler bookings, and Plutio generates a unique Zoom meeting link for each event automatically.
How to connect Zoom
- Go to Settings > Integrations.
- Find Zoom in the integrations list.
- Click "Connect with Zoom." Zoom's OAuth authorization page opens where you sign in and grant Plutio permission to create meetings on your account.
- Authorize the connection. Once approved, Zoom appears as a video location option for events and booking pages.
How to add Zoom to an event
- Create or edit a calendar event in your workspace.
- Select "Zoom" as the location type. Zoom appears in the location dropdown.
- Save the event. Plutio creates a new Zoom meeting on your account through the Zoom API, configured with the correct date, time, and duration. Each event gets its own unique Zoom link.
How to add Zoom to a booking page
- Open or create a booking page.
- Set the location to "Zoom."
- Save the booking page. Each confirmed booking generates a fresh Zoom link. The link appears in the booking confirmation email and the calendar event, so both the client and host have the meeting details before the scheduled time.
Where Zoom links appear
The Zoom join link shows up in the event detail view inside Plutio, in the notification email sent to participants, and in the synced Google Calendar event (when Google Calendar is connected). Participants can join from whichever location they see the link first.
How to disconnect Zoom
- Go to Settings > Integrations.
- Find Zoom in the integrations list.
- Click "Disconnect." The connection is removed immediately. Existing Zoom meetings that were already created won't be deleted, but new events won't generate Zoom links.
