Availability rules
Availability rules define exactly when bookings can happen. Each rule sets the hours and days that appear as bookable on a booking page, so clients only see slots that match your actual schedule.
Working hours and days
Availability starts with working hours for each day of the week. Monday through Friday might be set to 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, while weekends are marked as unavailable. Each day can have different hours, so a Tuesday with a 10:00 AM start and a Friday with a 3:00 PM finish both reflect the actual schedule. Days can also be toggled off entirely to block them from bookings.
Timezone handling
Booking pages support automatic timezone detection. When a visitor opens the page, their timezone is detected and available slots display in local time. A 2:00 PM slot in your timezone shows up as 10:00 AM for a visitor in a different region. Timezone detection can also be set to a fixed timezone if every booking should reference the same clock.
Blocked dates
Specific dates can be blocked to prevent bookings on holidays, planned time off, or other unavailable days. Blocked dates override the regular working hours, so even if a Tuesday is normally bookable, blocking that specific Tuesday removes it from all booking pages.
Per-page vs global availability
Availability can be set globally as a default that applies to all booking pages, or customised per booking page. A consulting page might use standard business hours, while an evening coaching page uses a 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM window. Per-page availability means each booking page reflects the actual schedule for that meeting type, not a one-size-fits-all time range.
Minimum scheduling notice
The minimum notice period controls how soon someone can book. A 24-hour notice window means slots within the next 24 hours don't appear as bookable, even if the time falls within working hours. The notice period prevents last-minute bookings that don't leave enough preparation time.
