Scheduler and calendar settings
Global settings define the defaults that apply to new booking pages and calendar events: working hours, buffer times, timezone, video meeting provider, sync preferences, and notifications. These defaults set the starting point, and any of them can be overridden on individual booking pages or events.
Default availability
Default working hours and available days are set here. These hours apply to any new booking page that doesn't have its own custom availability rules. A common default might be Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but the hours and days can be adjusted to match your actual working schedule. Individual booking pages can override these defaults with their own availability.
Buffer time and timezone
The default buffer time sets the gap between consecutive bookings across all booking pages. A 15-minute buffer, for example, prevents back-to-back meetings from overlapping. The workspace timezone determines the base timezone for availability calculations, and booking pages auto-detect the visitor's timezone by default so slots display in their local time.
Video meeting provider
The connected video provider (Zoom or Google Meet) is selected in settings. Once connected, booking pages and calendar events with a video location generate links through the selected provider automatically. Switching providers updates the link generation for all new bookings and events going forward.
Calendar sync and notifications
Google Calendar sync preferences are managed here, including which calendars to sync and how availability blocking works. Notification settings control who gets notified when bookings are created, rescheduled, or cancelled, and whether participants receive automatic reminders before events. Setting these defaults once means new booking pages and events arrive pre-configured with the correct availability, buffer times, timezone, and video provider, so only the meeting-specific details need adjusting.
