Iframe embedding
Plutio can be embedded inside your own website using an iframe, so your workspace loads within a page on your site rather than as a separate destination. An embed code is generated in settings, and an allowed domains list controls where the iframe can be loaded.
Generating the embed code
From Settings → White-label → Embed, an iframe embed code is generated for your workspace. The code includes your workspace URL (using your custom domain if one is configured) and the necessary attributes for the iframe to render correctly. Copying the embed code into your website's HTML is the only step required.
Domain allowlist
Allowed domains are configured to prevent your workspace from being embedded on unauthorised websites. Only domains added to the allowlist can load the iframe successfully. This protects against your branded workspace appearing on a site outside your control. Multiple domains can be added if the workspace needs to appear on more than one site.
What loads inside the iframe
The iframe loads your full Plutio workspace, including the login page, the client portal, projects, invoices, proposals, and every other page the viewer has access to. Navigation within the iframe stays inside the frame, so clicking through projects and documents doesn't redirect the visitor away from your website.
White-label inside the iframe
The embedded workspace inherits all white-label settings. Your custom domain, brand colours, logo, and "Powered by Plutio" removal all apply inside the iframe exactly as they do when the workspace is accessed directly. Iframe embedding turns your website into the front door to your workspace, so clients access projects, invoices, and documents without ever leaving your site.
