A big meeting lands on the calendar, and the leader wants to sound clear and steady when the moment comes. Coaching can help, but the hard part is making the work real enough that the next tense conversation doesn’t turn into another freeze, blow-up, or fuzzy decision. The leadership coaching contract gives both sides one set of terms to point to, so the work stays practical and nobody has to renegotiate the basics mid-engagement.

The opening ties the agreement back to any accepted proposal and any written updates you both agree to later, then What you get explains how sessions stay grounded in real situations, including rehearsal and a week to week plan. Payment spells out recurring billing with invoices at the start of each period, a 7 day due window, and what happens when an extra session gets added or an invoice runs late. The page carries Raleway headings over Roboto body text, with brick red and slate used to keep the terms easy to scan without feeling shouty.

  • This leadership coaching Contract sets out Connects the contract to an accepted proposal (if there is one) and makes clear that starting or continuing coaching means agreeing to these terms.
  • What you get Defines the coaching deliverables by the selected package and explains how scheduling, cadence changes, and scope shifts get confirmed in writing.
  • Payment Covers recurring invoicing, the 7 day payment window, how added sessions get billed, and when sessions pause for overdue invoices.
  • Private by default Spells out confidentiality boundaries, including when HR or a CEO gets included, and what happens to notes and tools when the engagement ends.
  • Ending the work Explains notice, immediate termination for serious reasons, what gets paid through the end date, and includes the Signature block.

Once the contract is in your workspace, you fill in the names, dates, and rates, then send it for online signature. A signed copy lands back with the acceptance, leaving the coaching to run on the recurring terms you agreed instead of a chain of emails.

We went from spending hours on every proposal to creating fully customized ones in under 5 minutes. That's not an exaggeration - we timed it.

The contract in full

This leadership coaching Contract sets out how we will work together on leadership coaching, so you know what to expect and we can stay focused on the meetings and decisions in front of you. It applies to the proposal you accepted (if there is one), plus any written updates we both agree to as we go.

By starting, scheduling, or continuing leadership coaching with us, you are agreeing to the terms below.

What you get

Our work with you is leadership coaching. We keep it practical: we work from your real situations, rehearse the conversations you need to have, and build a coaching plan you can use week to week.

The specific deliverables, session types, and cadence you are buying are the ones listed in your selected package. That list is part of this agreement. We will agree your session schedule after the intake session, and you can request changes any time. We will confirm the next date in writing so you always know what is on the calendar. If you want to change the cadence or shift the focus, we will price the change and agree it in writing before we do the work.

Payment

Leadership coaching is billed as recurring work. We invoice at the start of each period, and nothing is paid up front beyond that period. Each invoice is payable within 7 days of its date.

If you ask for an extra session during a tough week, we will offer the next available slot and invoice that added session in the current period. If a payment is late, we will pause upcoming sessions and any scheduled assessment or readout work until the account is up to date. If you have something time sensitive on the calendar, tell us. We will do our best to hold a date, but we cannot confirm or deliver work while an invoice is overdue.

Private by default

What we learn about you, your role, your team, and your company stays private. The same goes for anything you learn about our internal work. We do not share session content with HR, your CEO, or anyone else unless you ask us to, and we agree in writing what they are included in. If you want an HR partner involved, we will set the boundaries up front so you know what we will and will not report back.

When the engagement ends, you keep the notes, plans, and tools we created for your leadership coaching. We will keep our own working notes for our records, and we will store or dispose of them in a way that protects your information.

How we show up

We work with you as an independent coaching team. We are not your employees, and you are not employing any of our team members. That means we decide how we deliver the work, what tools we use, and who on our side supports the engagement.

We are responsible for our own business costs, taxes, and insurance. You are responsible for your internal decisions and how you apply what we coach on inside your workplace. We will ask for what we need from you to make sessions useful, like context, calendars, and the real scenarios you want to rehearse. Between sessions, you bring the meetings you have coming up, what happened since we last met, and any notes or feedback you want to work through.

Recurring work

Your leadership coaching runs on a recurring basis. Each period renews automatically, and we invoice at the start of the period as described in the Payment section. Your active period is the one covered by the most recent invoice.

Either of us can end the recurring engagement by giving notice. We will agree the notice period with you in writing when you start, or when you change your package, so it matches your cadence and calendar. If you give notice, you will still pay for work already delivered and any sessions already held in the current period. If you want to stop but keep a quarterly review on the books, we can shift the scope. We will price that change before we do it, and we will invoice it at the start of the next period.

Limits we both expect

We take the work seriously, and we will bring preparation, attention, and direct coaching to each session. At the same time, leadership coaching is not a guarantee of a specific business outcome. You are the one in the room, making the call, and results depend on factors we cannot control, including other people’s decisions, company constraints, and timing.

If something goes wrong because of our mistake, our responsibility is limited to fixing the coaching work we control. We are not responsible for indirect losses like lost profits, reputational harm, or the knock on effects of internal decisions made using coaching discussions as input.

Ending the work

Either of us can end leadership coaching by giving notice, as described in Recurring work. If we need to end immediately for a serious reason, we will tell you in writing and explain what we can still provide and what we cannot.

When the engagement ends, you pay for any work already delivered up to the end date, including any sessions already held and any assessment readout or review work already completed. We will deliver to you what we have produced for your leadership coaching up to that point, such as your coaching plan, any written exercises we created for you, and any agreed summaries. We will also confirm what, if anything, is scheduled next so you are not left guessing.
